 Both the SwiftDeck and LinkDeck tiles use wood species which have a typical service life in excess of 15 years even in the most exposed situations. In fact the Ipe wood used on the SwiftDeck Brazil Walnut range is widely recognized as having a service life exceeding 40 years in many cases.
 
 We always recommend however with the SwiftDeck and LinkDeck wood tiles, that you apply a good-quality decking oil/sealant on a regular basis which not only helps to preserve the original wood colour as long as possible but also slows down the rate of natural graying.
