Can I use the tiles on steps or stairs?

We don’t normally suggest using HandyDeck tiles for steps or stairs unless they can be screwed securely to the base of the stair tread. Additionally if you wish to use the tiles on the stair treads, you would need to attach the reducer pieces at the edge of the stair tread to hide the the plastic base.

We believe that a better method of covering stair treads is normally to use either traditional tiles or to cover the treads with lengths of lumber of a similar wood species.
