Will the tiles be lifted by strong winds?

Since the tiles don't form a continuous sheet like a sheet of plywood for example, but have gaps in between the individual tiles, and are connected securely to each other via the connecting tabs on all four sides of each tile, it would be very difficult for wind to uplift the tiles under normal situations.

Nevertheless, when installing the tiles in an elevated situation such as a balcony, you should make sure that the tiles do not extend over the edge of the balcony.

However in areas that are prone to extreme weather conditions such as hurricanes or tornadoes, where objects that are not securely fastened down are likely to be uplifted, we recommend that the tiles be removed prior to such extreme weather conditions passing through the area.
