One the simplest and most effective ways of building a deck around your spa or hot tub is to lay down HandyDeck Decking Tiles. With these tiles, it's an easy job to extend the deck any direction you want, as far as you want and at any time you please.

And even if your spa or hot tub isn't a perfect rectangle or square, you can easily cut the tiles with a jigsaw or handsaw so they fit tightly against the wall of the spa or tub. Alternatively if you don't like the idea of cutting the tiles to fit the hot tub, you can completely pave the area with the tiles and lay the hot tub on top....the tiles are designed to easily support weights up to several tonnes.

If your spa or hot tub deck is fully exposed to the weather, to keep the tiles looking at their best condition and to slow down the natural graying of the wood, we recommend applying a coat of a good quality decking oil every 6 to 12 months. Otherwise just sweep with a broom or wash with water every so often.
